When you think of ice cream parlours, vegan is usually so far from believable. But my friends, it’s 2015, and vegan options are popping up everywhere! Booyah is the latest hotspot to jump on this trend, offering vegan options for their popular ice cream sandwiches. I was lucky to have the chance to visit this new spot and boy, am I ever thankful I did!
Booyah is small, with seats outside the parlour. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable, with a vegan ice cream sandwich coming in around $6 CAD.
There is very limited seating at this ice cream parlour; you order from the counter and have a choice of vegan and gluten free cookies and ice cream to take to-go or to enjoy outside in the summer breeze. 
Vegan ice cream comes in 2 flavors: vanilla and chocolate and the cookies come in 3 different options.
The best, in my opinion, is the chocolate chip. To top your vegan ice cream sandwich, Booyah offers Oreo crumbs – delish!
This ice cream parlour does not offer free parking, unfortunately. However, it is located only a block from St.Claire West subway station, so you do have the option to take public transportation if need be.
