Fall is very clearly sweater weather. I love it! Big, baggy, comfy sweaters to keep you warm… I mean, how much better does fashion get? Every year, I make myself a promise to invest in some more colourful clothing options, and every year, I fail for the most part. No matter what I do, I usually find myself running towards the neutral sections, and there’s good reason why: you can never go wrong with neutrals. Classic for every occasion. They go with everything and well, we all know black is slimming.

That’s why this is one of my go-to fall outfits.  These vegan suede leggings from Aritzia are surprisingly so comfortable! You’d expect them to be rigid and tight, but no, they stretch so well and hug everything in all the right places. They pull you in where needed, but also allow you to breathe. I don’t think I’ll be taking them off this season! 

Saying goodbye to summer is always bittersweet. While I’m never ready to let go of the beautiful weather and hot summer breeze, there is always one thing to soften the blow as we make our way into the colder months. No, it’s not pumpkin spice everything (although I love that too)! What I’m taking about, is fall fashion. 

Any fashion lover will tell you how much fun fall styles can be. It’s the best time to keep warm by accessorizing with the perfect jacket, scarf or hat, but not yet too cold outside to make breathing uncomfortable (at least it gets like that here in Canada). I’m shivering just thinking about what’s to come…

This fall, I’m all about shades of black, grey and white. There’s something about these tones that create such an effortless, put-together look. Minimalist is in, so there’s no need to go over the top, just throw a leather jacket (vegan, of course!) over some white jeans and you’re good to go. 

I think we can all agree that summer time is the best. Festival season, travel season, pool season, patio season – you name it, everything is better with some sunshine and heat. 

One of my favorite go-to items to wear all summer long are my Paige Ellie Overalls. They’re seriously perfect for every occasion. Rocking out at a festival? Pair them with a bohemian crop. Having a drink on the patio? A classic white T will do. Backpacking across Europe? Switch up the top for a new, refreshed look.  These overalls are not typical. They’re stretchy and comfortable and hug you in all the right areas. They can even be dressed down or up. I love to pair them with some chunky heels, but even some flats or sneakers will do!
